The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn

The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn CD audiobook by Mark TwainThe Adventures of Huckleberry Finn is one of the first great American novels. The book is noted for its innocent young protagonist (Huck Finn), its colorful description of people and places along the Mississippi River, and its sober and often scathing look at the entrenched attitudes, particularly racism, of the time. The drifting journey of Huck and his friend Jim, a runaway slave, down the Mississippi River on their raft may be one of the most enduring images of escape and freedom in all of American literature.

Mark Twain's classic "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn" receives an
exceptional treatment with this CD audiobook. The narrator Dick Hill does an
absolutely brilliant job in his reading of Twain's classic novel. From
Huckleberry Finn to Tom Sawyer to Jim and all the other characters he vividly
brings them to life with his masterful voice acting. I read this book years ago
in my school days and this was a wonderful way to be reintroduced to this
classic story. I was completely captivated from the beginning to the end. I
found this CD audio book to be immensely enjoyable. 5 Stars - very highly
recommended!
